Breaking the Silence: Conversations on Race Relations and Oppression in St. Louis

2014 Sam and Marilyn Fox Atlas Week

Tuesday, April 1
7:30 - 9:00 p.m.
Busch Student Center 253 D

Sponsored By: Diversity Leadership Cabinet (DLC)

This dialogue will explore the complex race relations in St. Louis, specifically in regards to SLU and the surrounding areas and neighborhoods. This dialogue will seek to challenge stereotypes and encourage others to seek racial justice in their daily lives by thinking, talking, and actively engaging in conversations on race and its connections to poverty, wealth, health, education outcomes, and privilege, among other things. Join in and lean into the discomfort of inter-group dialogue!

Higher purpose. Greater good.
