Rethinking Success: The International Student & Global Competitiveness

In 2012, the United States is observing the global rise of the rest, particularly on the education front. Despite steady improvements in international rankings, a societal overhaul of education pedagogy is needed to create global citizens for the 21st century. Students from pre-K to professional education programs need curriculum that develops a global perspective, with the ability to look beyond themselves and their own paradigm. To address this planet's most pressing needs and to compete in this global system, we must all have the capacity to understand multiple perspectives and be engaged and active in real-world issues and topics.
