Culture Alive is held every year to growing crowds of participants. This event provides an interactive means of showing students how cultural issues impact business relationships, business practice, and thus business success! Students studying business at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels join faculty and members of the advisory board of the Boeing Institute of International Business to create a program that may include a culture quiz, skits highlighting how ignorance of a cultural norm can ruin a business interaction, videos, handouts, and more -- plus a closing international reception with food from various countries and an Asian tea ceremony typically conducted at the close of a business deal. Everyone is welcome. Reservations are not required, but may be made by emailing Karen Carpentier at SCHNEIKL@SLU.EDU or call 314-977-3898 for more information.

An informational flyer for this event can be found here.
