New Bander Fellows Will Produce Model Curriculum Over Next Year

Bander FellowsTwo Bander Fellows have been selected for the 2011-2012 year. Kamal Gursahani, MD, Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Emergency Medicine, and Anthony Mikulec, MD, MBA, Associate Professor and Chief of the Department of Otology and Neurotology at SLU, who has been renewed for a second year. In the upcoming year, Bander Center faculty and fellows will develop a model curriculum in medical business ethics.

The Bander Fellowship program was established to educate physicians at SLU on topics in medical business ethics. Each year, the program selects two faculty members in clinical departments to participate in a journal club on pertinent topics in the field, and create a mentoring environment where fellows can produce research and educational materials on the issues investigated.
