Move in Day
It's D-day, your first day in the dorms. Check out the frenzy - and the fun.
Every August, hundreds of new students make Saint Louis University their home. You might be nervous about going to college for the first time, but relax, SLU makes it easy.
Freshman Move in Day
You'll probably have a lot of stuff with you. Clothes, a computer, maybe even a TV. Luckily, a SLU group called Oriflamme will help you carry everything into your residence hall. You can't miss these folks. They're the ones in the bright orange shirts and they'll help you from your car to your room and back again. Whatever it takes.
Once your things are moved in, you'll have a chance to get to know your roommate and other students on your floor. Your resident advisor, or RA, will plan activities to help you settle in, such as game nights, lunch with your floor and cool stuff around St. Louis.
The fun doesn't stop there, though. There are special activities all week long to help you have a good time and make friends. Welcome Week is one of the best things about being a new Billiken. It's all about welcoming you to campus and getting you excited for what's to come. Don't worry, you'll be ready!
