RePAIR Program Seeks Partnerships
Visit the Restoring Professionalism and Integrity in Research (RePAIR) program's new website at www.repairprogram.org. The RePAIR program was developed with a $500,000 grant from the National Institutes of Health to provide intensive professional development education for researchers who engaged in wrongdoing or unprofessional behavior. Modeled on physician remediation programs, the RePAIR program will draw from best available evidence to foster ethical decision-making, adaptive thinking patterns, and good stress and work management habits among researchers. The RePAIR program currently seeks to establish partnerships with institutions to provide training, and individuals may now register for the first rounds of training which will begin in the fall of 2012.
