First post!

I’ve never been in St. Louis over the summer, so I wasn’t sure what to expect when I found out I needed to take a physics summer course in order to go to London. After helping all of the freshmen move out of the 16-story Griesedieck Complex (I’m a resident assistant), I decided I needed some time to relax. What better way to start off the summer than hanging out with some of my best friends? At one of the Billiken basketball games, some people were handing out free tickets to Six Flags. Some of my residents did not have the time to use their passes, so they gave them to me for the summer. I ended up getting to go to Six Flags with some of my friends for FREE!

After a day of riding roller coasters, getting soaked on water rides and meeting tons of superheroes, we got back to SLU with just enough time to change and leave for another exciting excursion…

St. Louis is known for its very own City Museum. It’s pretty much a huge playground for adults. You can slide down gigantic slides, crawl through tunnels and go from the inside of the building to the great outdoors all while you climb around. There, we got hot dogs, Gus’ pretzels, Ted Drewes frozen custard and tons of cookies. Not only was admission free, but so was the food (the key to any college student’s heart)!

For lack of better pictures, here’s one of me sliding down the huge outdoor slide.
