I’m…back?
Yesterday, I made the trip back to St. Louis. Today, I visited Parking and Card Services. After a long night of traveling yesterday, I wasn’t prepared for the picture they made me take. I thought we kept the same picture for four years, but I was wrong. It wasn’t too exciting. I dropped off my stuff from home and then went to pick up my first load from the storage locker. I have about two (or three…) more loads I need to pick up. Then my parents have to pick up one, because not everything fits in my compact car. People like to make fun of the amount of “stuff” I have, but I think it’s all necessary.
Tomorrow I will make a few trips to the storage unit. Tomorrow I will move into my room. Tomorrow I will get ready myself ready for my new floor. Tomorrow I will be reunited.
The hard part: getting everything into my room by myself. I’m not so sure my three pound dumb-bells in aerobics will help me carry up tons of stuff. Last year I had my mom and my dad help me. They were doing renovations in the building, so I had to park in the garage. My dad told me that I should put a cover on my show container, but I told him that was unnecessary. Next thing you know, my ENTIRE BUCKET OF SHOES spilled all over the middle of the road. I caused a ton of traffic and gave my dad a story to tell for years. Needless to say, my “moving-in” process took FOREVER. Wish my lonesome self luck for tomorrow L
