Hey everyone!

I’m Courtney – a junior, biology major, tour guide and Billiken. I enjoy long walks on the beach, dinner under the stars and playing chess on Friday nights. Actually, I’m kidding. If there’s anything I do love, it’s pink, Taco Bell, manicures, hanging out with my friends, spending time with my family, volunteering, the Price is Right (re-runs) and SLU!

I’m going to be honest with you: at first I wasn’t 100% interested in SLU. In fact, I only applied because I promised my grandpa I would. I came for my tour, and (sadly to say) I was hesistant and apathetic. When I first walked from Laclede Garage to DuBourg, my opinion started to waiver.  During my tour, I realized my ignorance of SLU and all that it had to offer. When I walked back to the garage with my mom, I told her that I was going to be a Billiken.

Now, I couldn’t picture myself anywhere else. I love everything about SLU – the students, faculty, staff and even flowers!
