Howdy Katie? Your experiences seems so great! I’m hoping you’re doing great as you think of those memories. Some says going on to college is as hard as a married life, but I know it’s not – indeed NOT. I enjoyed my life when I was in college as how you enjoy yours. It’s a great experience, right?

Love the photos of the beach in Mallorca. Which beach is that taken from?

Sorry to hear that your camera got stolen. The most annoying thing is the lost photos – with sentimental value can’t be replaced rather than the cost of the camera itself.

I also love the sunset pic you have there too. I really miss the sunny evenings in Mallorca, I used to go every other year with my parents and take long walks around the sea. Can’t wait to be able to go again.

I’ve been there once… it’s a great stadium…very big! the ambiance is so cool especially if madrid is playing with arch rival barcelona…..

Hi Katie!
We don’t know each other, but we have something in common – SLU Madrid! I’m a Facebook fan of SLU Madrid, that is how I came across your blog. I’m also a former student, but that was 13 years ago. However, after all these years I still have an extreme passion for Spain and frequently daydream about my experience there, I do believe I also left my heart somewhere in that beautiful country. For several years after studying in Madrid, my mom and I would visit twice a year. But, I’m married now with two small children and that is hardly an option…for the time being anyway. So, after skimming through your blogs and pics I thought I’d just let you know that you’ve inspired me to get myself back there sometime soon. Your stories are a great reminder of my time there and of my “younger” years…I’m actually a little jealous, lol. I wish I would’ve kept a blog of my time in Spain, but at least I have great memories, long-lasting friendships and a ton of photos. Keep up the good work and continue taking it all in…it is truly an unforgettable experience! Best of luck to you.
