Thomas L. Trice, M.A., teaches courses in the Criminal Justice and Security Management Program at the School for Professional Studies. He has more than 15 years of service in local, state and federal law enforcement. He is still active in the field as a criminal investigator, supervisor of a drug narcotics unit, and supervisor of a street crimes unit. He is also a nationally-certified polygraph examiner.
Thomas has worked as an undercover agent for both state and federal law enforcement, and he received the Illinois’ “Top State Law Enforcement Officer” award for his service. He has worked more than 3,000 felony cases that include everything from aggravated batteries to homicide. He is also a member of The Major Case Squad of Greater Saint Louis. Thomas received his bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in Administration of Justice and Pre-Law. He holds two master’s degrees from Webster University: one in Leadership Management and one in Human Resource and Development.
