Jennifer Agnew

Jenny Agnew, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of English and assistant chair of the Core Curriculum and General Studies Program at St. Louis University’s School for Professional Studies.  With over eighteen years of experience, Dr. Agnew has taught at several universities, including Marquette University in Milwaukee and Loyola University Chicago, and to a range of levels, from high school to graduate school.  Her areas of expertise are American Literature, Gothic Fiction, and food studies.   As the assistant chair of the Core Curriculum and General Studies Program, Dr. Agnew oversees writing across the core curriculum.  Select conferences where she has presented papers include the American Literature Association Conference, the College English Association Conference, and the Interdisciplinary and Multicultural Conference on Food Representation in the Humanities, Film, and the Arts.
