By day, Melanie has spent the past 12 years working full time as a CADD Coordinator in the Engineering Department at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She completed an Associate’s Degree in Drafting Technology at Southwestern Illinois College in 2002 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and Technology at SLU in 2011.

She has written for two well-known textbooks about design software and served as the technical editor for half a dozen more, in addition to writing countless articles and tutorials for the architecture/engineering/construction industry.

By night, she is also wife to stay-at-home-Dad, Mick, and the proud mother of two boys. She is also a student at Saint Louis University School for Professional Studies, pursuing an M.S. in Organizational Informatics and serves as webmaster for our chapter of Alpha Sigma Lambda.
