During the academic year the Department of Fine and Performing Arts at Saint Louis University exhibits in the Boileau Hall Art Gallery. Annual exhibitions include two juried student shows, a Studio Art Faculty exhibit, and up to two invitational exhibits.
The programming of the Boileau Hall Art Gallery is an extension of the Studio Art curriculum at Saint Louis University. The student exhibitions provide undergraduates taking studio art courses in painting, ceramics, photography, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, fibers, metalsmithing, digital art and graphic design the opportunity to share their work with the University and St. Louis art communities.
At Boileau Hall Art Gallery, the Studio Art faculty and other professional artists exhibit their current work and interact with students through receptions, gallery talks, and presentations. These exhibits are free and open to the public on Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 4 pm. Open when the university is in session Sept.- May.
