Busch Student Center Offices, Services, and Hours of Operation
The BSC is the home of many Student Development departments, including the Student Success Center, Dean of Students Office, Assistant Vice Presidents of Student Development Office, and the Student Involvement Center. It is also the home of the BSC Tech Service Center which offers onsite computer support.
The BSC includes the Student Government Association and a variety of other student groups. It is also the central hub for major student media organizations KSLU (SLU radio), SLUTV, the University News .
Various meeting rooms and lounges offer ideal areas for meetings, studying or just hanging out. If you'd like to reserve any of the available spaces please contact Events.
Dining facilities in the BSC include St. Louis Bread Company, The Billiken Club and Grill, and The Grand Market which features Panda Express and Chick-fil-A, . Retail services in the BSC include Barnes and Noble Bookstore and U.S. Bank.

Advertising options in Busch Student Center
BSC Digital Signage
This is a free service for University departments, student organizations and on-campus vendors only. Outside clients will not be accepted.
Create a Microsoft Powerpoint file promoting your event. Use the default size (on-screen show 4:3, 10 inches by 7.5), keep your text brief and the fonts large and clean (san serif). What you create in your Powerpoint file is what will be displayed.
Submit your Powerpoint files to email@example.com. Please include "digital sign" in the subject line of your e-mail.
While individual departments are responsible for creating and maintaining their own digital signage they must ensure that pages (slides) have a focus consistent with University policies for Marketing and Communication. Each department reserves the right to accept or refuse submissions. Please allow 48 hours for submissions to be posted. Digital signage administrators will not responsible for layout and content.
Don't forget to also submit your news to SLU Connection and to Newslink.
The Busch Student Center directories display building maps and offer a space to promote major events. Directories are set inside the Grand and Ritter entrances of the Busch Student Center and a third is located on the third floor just outside the Student Involvement Center. They are available for major events that take place on the Saint Louis University campus and are available to the general SLU community only. No outside vendors or organizations will be considered.
The printing cost for each 25-inches wide by 42-inches tall poster is just $62, or a total of $186.00 for all three directories. The preferred format to submit art for the BSC Directories is a PDF with at least 300 DPI. File size should be at least 12 x 21 inches.
You are responsible for content, so please be sure to spell check your document. Space must be reserved and files submitted to Cindy Bush, Building Coordinator for Busch Student Center, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Reservations are first come, first served. Please include "BSC directories" in the subject line of your e-mail.

Posters/fliers in the Busch Student Center must be posted by BSC staff and may not be larger than 11x17. Posters that are placed at non-designated areas, that are too large or that do not have the Student Involvement Center stamp will be removed.
To have a posting hung, have no more than 7 approved and stamped by the Student Involvement Center (BSC, room 319) and leave them at the BSC information desk. The staff will hang them as soon as possible.

If you want to display something large, it is considered a banner. Applications for banners are located at the BSC information desk.
• All banners are approved on a first come, first served, space available basis
• No glitter or weights on banners
• You will be notified by email as to the status of this request
• Approval for all banners is subject to appropriate content. If content changes dramatically after the approval, approval may be revoked.
• Application must be received no later than 10 days prior to hang date
Inside banners: are placed above the tables at St. Louis Bread Company.
• Largest allowable dimensions
Width - 76" (6'4") x Length 76" (6'4")
Typically the size of a twin/full size bed sheet
• Recommended methods of hanging; zip ties, shower hooks/rings, fabric pieces, string
-Do not hang with glue, tape or staples
• You are responsible for hanging your own banner on the start date and removing it by the end date.
• If banner is not removed on time or it will be destroyed.
• The outside wall facing Ritter Hall is reserved for University Departments. Special permission is required to reserve this space. For more information concerning this space contact Cindy Bush email@example.com
• For any other banner that is requested to be placed outside, it will be placed over the second floor east balcony facing the lecture halls.
• Banner must be received by Wednesday the week prior to being hung.
• Outside banners will be removed the day after reservation ends. It will need to be picked up within two days of removal or it will be destroyed.
