Student Media

The University News has been a news forum and student voice for the SLU community since 1921. The weekly newspaper is published every Thursday during the academic year and once in the summer. The paper is produced by a staff of students, who are responsible for all editorial content and advertising sales.

KSLU broadcasts online 24 hours a day, offers a mobile disc-jockey service for on-campus events, publishes a blog called The Amp and organizes music events to introduce new music to the campus.

The purpose of KSLU is to provide Saint Louis University and the St. Louis community with a student-run, tangible media outlet; providing new music, talk radio, written publication, as well as other student needs.

SLU-TV offers students a place to learn about and express the art of film by creating their own television media.  SLU-TV provides an outlet for their work where it can be shared with the campus community. SLU-TV offers equipment for student use and encourages its members to use their talent and imagination to create great student programming. SLU-TV airs 24/7 on campus cable channel 22.

OneWorld Magazine is SLU's student-produced, social justice publication. OneWorld features photos, artwork and writing from students and faculty that report world events with a keen focus on human rights and global solidarity. As part of the global community, we seek to raise awareness about social injustice and the movements to promote justice, whether they occur two blocks from our campus or on the other side of the world.

Higher purpose. Greater good.
