Section 4 - ITS Structure


It is very important to understand your relation, as an Intern, with the other interns and with the ITS Organization.

Every Intern will have a full-time supervisor who will be responsible for the daily operations of the intern. Full-time supervisors oversee the individual interns by:

  • Enforce work practices, policies and procedures
  • Develops individual Intern schedules
  • Evaluates and manages Intern behavior
The Student Support Coordinator overseeing the program on a managerial level by
  • Developing the overall program
  • Promoting and maintaining program
  • Recruiting of new interns

The program is based on job description and role. There is no reporting hierarchy in the Intern Program amongst the Interns.


Each position has its own job description. Within the program there are 15 different positions with in the program:

  • Advanced Technology Intern
  • Application Support Specialist
  • Collaboration Systems Intern
  • EAS Intern
  • IMC/ITC Media Specialist
  • Multimedia AV Tech
  • Networking and Telecom Support
  • Office Assistant
  • Project Office Assistant
  • Project Office Clerical
  • Quality Assurance
  • Server and Storage
  • Service Desk Analysts
  • Service Desk Technician
  • Web Design and Development
