The Center for Supply Chain Management at the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business trains, supports and informs the community through our programming. We strive to improve profitability for the entire supply chain industry and are dedicated to ensuring SLU is leading the field to prepare supply chain professionals for future challenges.
SLU’s Center for Supply Chain Management offers training and education about various supply chain tools and activities — such as supplier relationships, purchasing management, operations and inventory management, logistics and transportation, quality measurement and information technology — through programs, events, publications and interactions with corporate supply chain professionals.
The center has three objectives to resource professionals to meet the demands of today's industry.
We pursue these objectives in cooperation with our diverse membership and partnerships, including affiliation with leading companies in the St. Louis metropolitan region, including: APICS and the American Society for Quality, Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, Institute for Supply Management, Missouri Enterprise, National Contract Management Association and National Defense Transportation Association.
The Center for Supply Chain Management sponsors multiple events throughout the year. In order to ensure that our participants and the community are staying engaged and involved, we bring in a variety of industry professionals.
