About CADE

The Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education (CADE) has been called the finest facility for advanced dental education in the world.

Located in Dreiling-Marshall Hall on the eastern end of SLU's medical campus in Midtown St. Louis, CADE houses three state-of-the-art treatment clinics: orthodontics, endodontics and periodontics, as well as an imaging center that includes cone beam 3D imaging.

Our students have general dental degrees and are studying in the three specialty programs, while providing treatment for thousands of patients each year for root canals, braces, gum disease, and dental implants.  We do not perform general dentistry.  These services are offered at a substantially lower cost than in private practice.  (Find out more about the cost of care at CADE.)

Prospective patients for root canal or gum disease treatment must have a referral form from a general dentist or dental clinic.

For more information on becoming a patient, or for questions about our academic programs, please contact us at 314-977-8363.

CADE's Mission

Consistent with the mission of Saint Louis University, the Center for Advanced Dental Education's mission is to achieve the highest level of excellence in dental education, scholarship, and patient care according to the scope of the dental specialties of endodontics, orthodontics, and periodontics. The center aims to serve its students, the profession of dentistry, the community of St. Louis, and the communities in which the graduates of CADE will practice their dental specialty.
