A roundtable discussion of “Difficult Conversations,” the theme of the spring issue of Conversations on Jesuit Higher Education, will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, in the Sinquefield State Room on the fourth floor of DuBourg Hall.
The magazine looks at conversations dealing with racism, gender equality and LGBTQ that are occurring on Jesuit campuses nationwide. The magazine is published twice a year by the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU).
Professor Paul Lynch (English) and assistant dean Shannon Morse (law) will serve as panelists to initiate the discussion. They represented SLU at this spring’s Faculty Conversations conference, sponsored by the AJCU, and will share from their experience with representatives from the other 27 campuses in the U.S.
Conversations Roundtable is sponsored by the Office of Mission and Identity and the Reinert Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning.
