The Diversity Awareness Partnership's Annual Diversity Summit, one of the region’s top diversity and inclusion professional development events, will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, in Busch Student Center.
Keynote speaker Peggy McIntosh, Ph.D., will speak on Understanding History and Ourselves: The Issues of Unearned Advantages and Disadvantages.
Breakout sessions led by local business and nonprofit leaders include: Unconscious Bias in the Workplace, Gender Identity and Expression, and Being an Ally in Racial Equity Work.
Summit participants will learn best practices and strategies to create and sustain inclusive communities.
Diversity Awareness Partnership is a catalyst to increase awareness, facilitate engagement and provide education about diversity and inclusion.
