Spiritual Life Communities were created in the summer of 2014. A small group of students joined together to learn about one another and share in community that allowed them to learn from one another and challenge each other to develop their individual spirituality. Students from different backgrounds, faiths, philosophies and experiences met to reflect, pray, question, and grow. In the fall of 2014, Spiritual Life Communities expanded to over 30 members. Facilitators helped to lead the three new small groups, and went through a training in which they learned about interfaith dialogue and small group facilitation. SLC's are brand new to SLU's campus, but hope to be here for years to come - bringing students from all backgrounds to search for deeper truth in spirituality and community.
