Saint Louis University

Campus Ministry offers many opportunities for growth in understanding and integration of the Christian faith. These offerings encourage students to participate more fully in the life of their faith communities.

Praying with the tools of Ignatian Spirituality, Christian Life Communities are small groups that meet weekly to seek and understand God's activity in their lives. Contact: clc@slu.edu or Campus Minister Julie McCourt at jmccour2@slu.edu or 314-977-1516. Learn more here.

FAITH AND LEADERSHIP

Grow as a leader in your faith community. At Campus Ministry, students assist with Spring BreakOut Mission Trips, CLCs, retreat teams, liturgy planning, and more. If you want to explore leadership opportunities, contact any campus minister.

SPIRITUAL LIFE COMMUNITY (SLC)

Promoting interfaith dialogue and acceptance, Spiritual Life Communities are small groups that meet weekly to explore that dialogue. Contact slc@slu.edu or Campus Ministry at (314) 977-2425. Learn more here.

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA) AND CONFIRMATION

For those seeking baptism or full membership in the Catholic Church, RCIA is the process through which people prepare for and receive the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. Contact Fr. Nick at smithnw@slu.edu.

SPIRITUAL CONVERSATIONS

Campus Ministers are available for individual conversation, "serious or light," and for confidential, spiritual conversations. Visit the campus minister in your residence hall or contact Campus Ministry for a referral.

SPIRITUAL DIRECTION

Visit with an experienced mentor about your personal walk with God. The blessings of Spiritual Direction include the integration of spirituality and prayer, tools for discerning vocation, and a deeper longing for justice. For more information, contact Robby Francis at rfranci7@slu.edu.
