2015 MASS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Mark your calendars for this year's Mass of the Holy Spirit, which is on Thursday, August 27th beginning at 11 a.m. in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Classes are canceled from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. All faculty, staff, students, and administrators are welcome to join in this liturgical celebration.

Liturgical Ministry

LITURGICAL MINISTER TRAINING

Students are invited to serve the SLU worshiping
community as Ministers of Hospitality, Servers, Lectors, and Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist. Student ministers who have been trained participate in the Sunday 4:30 and 9:00 p.m. masses in College Church as well as in the weekday Residence Hall masses.
Training for new liturgical ministers will take place on Saturday, September 12th in the Eckelkamp Center for Campus Ministry. We will begin with breakfast and registration at 8:30 a.m. and an opening prayer service at 9 a.m. Training sessions will follow. Please pre-register online on the registration page of Campus Ministry's website.
Returning liturgical ministers are invited and encouraged to attend breakfast and the opening prayer service. Contact Erin Schmidt, Liturgy Coordinator, with questions.
