www.cravestl.org - CRAVE Community (Christ in the City Church)
The CRAVE Community* believes that our relationship with Jesus effects all of our other relationships. From our partners in the clean water effort to our work in sharing the good news of Jesus in East Africa, from our work with the St. Louis Gate District West Neighborhood Association to our work in India and other places around the world, we believe relationships matter.
So we GATHER to celebrate life under God's grace and grow with Him in large and small groups; and we SCATTER to share this life and growth with others in relationships that restore the world. We are a diverse group of students, faculty, and city/metro residents who live to share Jesus' love in relationships.
Let us know today where you'd like to be in relationship with the CRAVE Community:
GATHER in large groups for worship and celebration - Saturday CRAVE Worship Gathering at 5:30pm and Wednesday Reflection (Bible Study and worship) in CRAVE's Upper Room at noon; and in small groups for study and support - we have many during the week and weekend.
SCATTER in such ways as compassionate service to others, connection events on campus, and training that equips people to be leaders, explaining the reason for the hope that we have in Jesus.
[*CRAVE is a non-profit coffeehouse that is a great place to study, meet with friends, eat, and drink all of your favorite coffeehouse beverages! The net profits help in building relationships on the campus and city! There is free wireless internet access available, as well as catering and an Upper Room that can be reserved for a variety of gatherings, all while you're at Saint Louis University (the SLU shuttle comes right to CRAVE on the SLU health sciences campus every day from the BSC)! CRAVE Community and Coffeehouse are part of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (and a SLU affiliate ministry).]
