Christina L. Popp, R.D., L.D.
Christina Popp, R.D., L.D., MPH, joined the Saint Louis University Cancer Center as its first dietitian in November 2004. Currently, she provides nutrition therapy to oncology patients, and mentors dietetic students and interns from Saint Louis University and the Veterans' Affairs Medical Center.
Christina's previous experiences have included providing medical nutrition therapy for a variety of conditions: weight management, diabetes, heart health, psychiatric conditions and substance abuse. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association, Missouri Dietetic Association and the Saint Louis Dietetic Association, where she holds an elected board position on the nominating committee.
She is also a member of the oncology nutrition and research dietetic practice groups. Her outside interests lie in health and fitness, and Spanish-English bilingual education.
Christina holds a bachelor of science in dietetics and a bachelor of arts in anthropology from Western Michigan University. She recently earned a master's degree in public health from Saint Louis University. She is a registered dietitian with the Commission on Dietetetic Registration, and licensed in the state of Missouri.
