Career Decision Making Course (PSY 1840)


Career Services offers a one-credit hour class to assist students in the career exploration process. It is offered in a sixteen-week format during both the fall and spring semesters, meeting 50 minutes per week.

Career Decision Making is recommended to freshman and sophomores who are unsure about their major or career direction. This course helps students:

  • Understand the process of career development
  • Gain a deeper understanding of your interests, skills, values and personality
  • Learn about the world of work
  • Familiarize yourself with career-related resources
  • Gain insight into your purpose or calling
  • Find assistance in career decision-making
