Prior to utilizing the materials and services of Career Services, it is important that you read, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions of use:

Saint Louis University makes no representations or warranties relative to the positions listed, referred, coordinated or posted by or for Career Services. Likewise, the University is not responsible for safety, wages, working conditions, or any other aspect of internships, externships, volunteer work and/or employment obtained or sought through the services of the Career Services department at Saint Louis University. It is ultimately your responsibility to research the safety and integrity of the organizations and/or employers to which you are associating. You are strongly encouraged to use caution and common sense when applying for, considering, or accepting any position with an organization, a company or a private party. You should never go alone to a residential address to apply for a job, nor put yourself in a vulnerable position.

Even what might appear to be the best job opportunity is not worth jeopardizing your personal safety. In consideration for the right to participate in the services and activities and to utilize the materials provided by Career Services, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold the University, its trustees, officers, employees and agents harmless from and against any and all liability, claims, suits, actions, damages, settlements and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of injuries to you, to other persons or damage to property in connection with your acceptance or utilization of Career Services' material, services, activities and use of the University's facilities or equipment, whether from an occurrence at the property of the University itself or elsewhere, during such use, before or after such use, going to and from such use in or about available parking areas, or otherwise / elsewhere, AND NOT WITHSTANDING ANY NEGLIGENCE THAT MIGHT BE ALLEGED AGAINST, OR ATTRIBUTED TO THE UNIVERSITY OR ANY PERSON INDEMNIFIED HEREUNDER. By submitting personal information to Career Services, you hereby consent to disclosure of such personally identifiable information to any employer, future employer or any other participant in the activities, events and services offered by Career Services unless you inform us otherwise in writing.

Saint Louis University's CareerLink provides internship and job listings, resume databases, and on-campus recruiting services to students and alumni of Saint Louis University. Career Services programs are designed to prepare graduates to pursue employment in their field of study, or in related fields. However, the University does not guarantee that graduates will be placed in any particular job or employed at all. These on-line services are sponsored by Saint Louis University Career Services in conjunction with the NACElink system.


SLU Career Services is committed to protecting the privacy of its students, alumni, and employers regarding collection and access of electronic personal information. By using CareerLink, you consent to the storage of your resume and profile data on servers provided by the NACElink network (not on SLU-provided servers). NACElink cannot use or sell individual candidate data, and NACElink staff cannot look at individual candidate data. Policies governing this data are covered in the NACELink privacy policy.
