Raising St. Louis

Description: Raising St. Louis is a BJC Healthcare initiative that aims to utilize two well-established early childhood programs Nurses for Newborns and Parents as Teachers to improve the health, developmental, and school outcomes of St. Louis children pre-natal to 8 years old. The initiative plans to offer services to expectant and new parents through home visits, as well as provide childcare items, perform child health exams, and invite parents to meet and share experiences with other parents. The initiative is currently open to applicants in a six-zip code area of St. Louis City.
