Missouri Area Health Education Centers (MAHEC) - East Central Missouri (ECMO)

Description: The Missouri Area Health Education Centers (MAHEC) network is part of the National AHEC network and aims to improve the availability of primary care health personnel especially in rural and urban underserved areas of Missouri. The AHEC program offices, in collaboration with the regional centers, facilitate training of health professions students in underserved communities to build connections and develop an understanding of community, improve job-readiness skills, and recruit them to be future health care providers.
