SLU Community Engagement Inventory

St. Benedict Joseph Labre Homeless Ministry

Description: St. Benedict Joseph Labre Homeless Ministry seeks to provide food, faith, and companionship to the homeless demographic of St. Louis. Each week, the group cooks food for those who live on the streets and delivers the food with intentional consistency in an effort to form authentic friendships with those who often need it most. Seeking to fulfill the Christian and Jesuit call to be men and women for and with others, the group encourages spiritual growth in members and in the people we visit.
