Saint Louis University College Church The Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies supports, coordinates, and promotes the extraordinary array of scholars, students, and resources devoted to medieval and early modern research at Saint Louis University. One of the largest in America, the Center is home to more than sixty full-time faculty members. By supporting students, conferences, speakers, fellowships, library acquisitions, and professorships the Center enriches the intellectual environment for medievalists and early modernists on campus and around the world.

The Annual Symposium on Medieval & Renaissance Studies
The Fourth Annual Symposium on Medieval and Renaissance Studies will be held June 20-22, 2016. The Annual Symposium provides a convenient summer venue in North America for scholars in all disciplines to present papers, organize sessions, participate in roundtables, and engage in interdisciplinary discussions. All topics that relate to the medieval and early modern worlds are welcome. What does the Annual Symposium Offer? On-campus housing options including affordable air-conditioned apartments, and a luxurious boutique hotel. All sessions take place in classrooms and auditoriums with complete audiovisual facilities. Inexpensive dorm meal plans are available. All sessions, events, meals, and housing are located within easy walking distances of each other on the beautiful midtown campus of Saint Louis University. A rich variety of restaurants, bars, and cultural venues are only a short walk away. Participants are welcome to utilize the Vatican Film Library as well as the rare book and manuscript collections of the nearby Pius XII Library during their stay.
