ALIVE provides counseling, emergency sanctuary, and other critical services to adults and children who have been impacted by domestic abuse. ALIVE seeks to increase awareness in order to create a supportive community.

- Crisis Line Volunteer: Assists with answering crisis line phones. Requires 40-50 hours of training – included crisis intervention skills, agency requirements and policies, Intimate Partner Violence dynamics and more. A commitment of 6-10 hours weekly is desired.

- Office Volunteer: clerical work, organizing donations, support development activities. No time commitment and flexible hours are available.

Diamond Diva Empowerment Foundation (2DEF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, strengthening, and empowering women and children affected by domestic violence and various socio-economic conditions. Our purpose is to be a necessary resource to women and children; primarily focusing on those who have experienced the effects of domestic violence. We will accomplish this by aiding them to rebuild from the inside out and to reevaluate themselves. Through our program women are able to freely walk a journey of life, truly recovered and healed from domestic violence and other socioeconomic struggles.

- Case Management Assistant: Student will assist with creating and completing a files for daily client management and auditing purpose. Will work with client referrals and resources.

The Freedom Community Center’s mission is to build a movement of survivors that will meaningfully address violence in St. Louis City and collectively design alternatives to state systems of punishment. Our community will fight to end mass incarceration and advocate for transformative justice approaches to reducing harm.

- CourtWatch Data Entry and Analysis: Provide support to Freedom Community Center's Courtwatch program through remote data entry. Our CourtWatch program witnesses the injustices in the 22nd Judicial Circuit (St. Louis City). We are seeking volunteers who would like to assist with data entry and analysis as part of our monthly data analysis and publication efforts.

- CourtWatch Volunteer: We aim to interrupt the violence of the pre-trial justice system by attending and collecting data at bail hearings in St. Louis, analyzing and publishing that data, and organizing to hold system actors accountable to the injustices we witness. We are looking for volunteers to watch court at the 22nd Judicial Circuit Court in downtown St. Louis.

- CourtWatch Data Entry and Analysis: Anytime - up to schedule of volunteer.

- CourtWatch Volunteer: Any day M-F between the hours of 12-3pm.

Orientation/Training Session

Offer safe shelter and support services to promote the healing of women and their children suffering the trauma of intimate partner violence.

Shelter Office Aide: Provide support to front desk by answering phones, providing assistance to Crisis Line workers, and assisting case managers as needed.

Hours and days are flexible. All days and times have availability.

KUTO's mission is to prevent suicide and foster the emotional well-being of youth. KUTO prepares teens with the skills, confidence and courage to help their peers, and themselves, cope before, during and after crisis.

- Hotline Crisis Worker: Crisis Worker Volunteers provide immediate telephone response to help persons in any type of crisis; including suicide, rape, family violence, sexual conflicts, etc. Also, refer persons with mental health problems to appropriate community resources, including social service agencies. Training is required and provided free of charge.

Lydia's House works in faith to end domestic violence by being a place of healing and a voice of hope for abused women and their children.

- After-School Program: Tutoring and mentoring school age children throughout school year. Orientation and some training required (offered every other month).

To break the cycle of violence in the lives of battered women and their children.

- Childcare and Tutoring: To provide childcare for a resident who is currently staying in the shelter. To provide tutoring services to a current resident or their child/children.

- Donation Management Volunteer: Sorting/organizing, putting away all types of donations. Cleaning and arranging closets. Listing donation items. Picking up donations.

- Clerical/General Support Volunteer: Duties include filing, designing forms and signs, photocopying, data entry, shredding, and general office work.

We provide crisis intervention, counseling, and other supportive services for battered women, rape victims, and adult survivors of childhood sexual assault. In addition, we provide education about dating violence and sexual assault.

Crisis Hotline: Volunteers can assist with the 24-hour crisis hotline, or assist with a variety of tasks around the office.

Office and Maintenance Projects: Sprucing up a survivors gardem raking leaves, planting flowers; Create crisis line binders.

24 hours a day, 7 days a week - flexible and up to schedule of volunteer.

The Covering House provides refuge and restoration, using the least restrictive environment, for sexually exploited and trafficked children and teens, providing safety, dignity, and freedom utilizing top level staffing and oversight.

- Practicum students from Social Work, Public Health, Psychology, etc. are welcome

- Web Designer: We are looking for someone to design and develop a navigator friendly format that is also easy to maintain. Graphic design skills is a plus.

- Data Specialist: Looking for a person who could help with data collecting, entry, and aggregating. As we look to establish best practices, we need someone to help us manage all our data information.

- Education Researcher: Working closely with our lead educator, this job will research state and national standards for several grade levels, assessments and evaluative tools.

- Staff Self-Care Therapist: Serve as a therapist to our staff to help them maintain a healthy self-care plan. This job requires a Masters level student studying either counseling or social work.

- Grant Researcher: Research grants who initiatives align with The Covering House mission. Create and organized matrix of grant information such as deadlines, requirements, contact info, etc.

Some work can be done remotely, and the office is open Mondays-Fridays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m..

The Women’s Safe House provides safe shelter and transitional living services to battered women and their dependent children. Through our services, we work to empower women to make informed choices about their future.

The YWCA of Metropolitan St. Louis, an association of women from diverse backgrounds and faiths, is committed to strengthening our community through the social and economic empowerment of women, the development of youth and the elimination of racism.

Volunteers are needed to work in a variety of areas: Early Childhood Head Start, Transitional Housing Program, Women's Resource Center, Racial Justice and more!

Sexual Assault Response Team: Assist YWCA with the SART program, which provides immediate, in-person 24-hour crisis intervention to victims of sexual assault at hospitals throughout the St. Louis region. Training provided. Contact Casey Anderson, 314-645-4848 or caanderson@ywcastlouis.org
