Software Development with Java Certificate
Many large-scale commercial, business applications are based on the Java programming language. Java is also gaining popularity in systems for portable computing devices from smart phones to embedded systems. Programmers currently developing in other languages, for example C# or C++, are likely to require knowledge of Java for projects in the near future. In this certificate participants learn the core Java language, as well as how to develop client/server systems or applets using Java. In addition other Java technologies including Hibernate, Spring and Java Server Faces are included. This certificate is designed for those with previous programming experience.It is suggested that you complete the core classes in the order listed below. Electives can be taken in any order, although most require one or more prerequisites.
