Accreditation Statement
Practical Anatomy and Surgical Education of Saint Louis University School of Medicine is licensed by the State of Illinois to be a Continuing Education Sponsor to provide Continuing Education for Physical Therapists. This activity was planned and implemented in accordance with the Illinois Statutes and/or rules and regulations and is hereby authorized to engage in this activity.

Number of Physical Therapy Continuing Education Units
The State of Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation designates 15 Continuing Education hours for each semester hour completed (i.e., 60 CE hours for four fall semester courses, 60 CE hours for four spring semester courses, and 15 CE hours for the summer semester course.)
Validation of Content Statement by Program Faculty
Saint Louis University School of Medicine follows the policy of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) regarding validation of clinical content for CME activities, which requires accredited sponsors to insure that: all recommendations involving clinical medicine are based on evidence that is accepted within the profession of medicine as adequate justification for their indications and contraindications in the care of patients; all scientific research referred to, reported or used in CME in support or justification of a patient care recommendation conforms to the generally accepted standards of experimental design, data collection and analysis.
