Dr. Linhorst is the Interim Dean of the College for Public Health and Social Justice and Director of the School of Social Work. His primary research interests revolve around the intersection of the mental health and criminal justice systems, as well as empowerment of people with psychiatric disabilities. Prior to arriving at Saint Louis University in 1997, Dr. Linhorst was a social worker for 16 years, working primarily in organizations that provide services to persons with severe mental illness.
