Louise Meret-Hanke, PhD teaches courses about the U.S. health care delivery system, government financing of health care and health policy. Her research interests include long-term care policy, particularly home and community-based services for the frail elderly, and rural health care.

Before undertaking her graduate studies, Dr. Meret-Hanke was Executive Director of a home and community-based agency providing services in two rural counties in Ontario, Canada. Currently, she serves as a member of the Public Policy Committee of the Alzheimer's Association of St. Louis.
