Pamela J. Huggins is an Associate Clinical Professor with primary teaching areas in field education, policy practice, and practicum integrative seminars. She serves as the practicum professor for community and organization students along with other clinical health students. She has been in social work academia since 1994 beginning at Saint Louis University and then serving 10 years at Indiana University as the Coordinator of Field Education and teaching many BSW courses.

She returned to Saint Louis University in 2005 where she has worked primarily with MSW students and served as the MSW Program Director for 5 1/2 years. Prior to academia, she worked as a hospital social work department director and in hospital and rehab social work for 14 years. She has served in numerous social work education and professional organization leadership roles. She also has credentials and practice experience in serving as a divorce mediator, qualified supervisor for social work licensure, geriatric case management, and in HIV prevention education.
