Professor Banks is a Field Education Liaison for students in the Health & Mental Health Concentration and is chair of the Health & Mental Health Concentration Curriculum Committee. She teaches Social Work Practice in the Health Field and the Health Integrative Practice Seminar.

As a member of the Center for Interprofessional Education and Research, she participates in several projects sponsored by the Center. Professor Banks also coordinates the MSW/MPH dual degree program for the School of Social Work.
