Sue teaches social work practice in the graduate and undergraduate programs. She worked for over twenty years as a social worker before joining the teaching faculty at Saint Louis University. Currently she is the Education Director for the University's Center on Aging Successfully and chairs the School of Social Work's Specialization in Gerontology.
