Travis Loux, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Biostatistics. After receiving his PhD in Statistics from UC Davis, he was a visiting faculty member at UC Santa Barbara before joining the faculty at SLU.
Dr. Loux's main research interests lie in the methodology and application of causal inference and closely related techniques in study design and missing data problems. He is also very interested in teaching and statistics education, especially statistical literacy in the general population.
