Saint Louis University's School of Social Work is pleased to announce that Darla Spence Coffey, PhD, President and CEO of the Council on Social Work Education, and Angelo McClain, PhD, LICSW, CEO of the National Association of Social Workers, will be visiting SLU on Wednesday, October 16th.

These social work leaders are visiting to celebrate the history and successes of the School of Social Work and the creation of the College for Public Health & Social Justice.

They will be making a presentation to the community from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on October 16th in the Anheuser-Busch Auditorium in John and Lucy Cook Hall addressing the future of social work education and the profession. Alumni, students, faculty, and the community from throughout the area are invited to attend.

Continuing education credit will be provided at no cost by the School of Social Work.
