Academic Advising General Office Information
The College of Arts & Sciences Office of Academic Advising works collaboratively with the University community in support of students' academic success. The Office of Academic Advising also maintains student records, provides essential academic information, and informs students about University procedures and the Arts & Sciences academic policy. Advising responsibilities include assisting students with transitional issues, curriculum planning, course placement, registration, referrals, and implementing programs and activities to enhance retention.
Scheduling an appointment with your academic advisor:
If you wish to meet with your advisor in person, it is best to make an appointment first. You should contact your assigned advisor by email or telephone to schedule an appointment.
When arriving for your scheduled appointment, please come to the main office, room 215, and check in at the front desk. Your advisor will be notified that you have arrived for your appointment. If you must cancel for any reason, please do not hesitate to call or email to reschedule your appointment.

The College of Arts & Sciences Office of Academic Advising is located in Verhaegen Hall, Room 215, which is located across from the entrance to the Pius Library and just north of the rear entrance to DuBourg Hall.
