Nancy has been a full-time faculty member in the Department of Counseling and Family Therapy since 1991. She completed her doctorate in 1989 in Marriage and Family Development and Therapy at Saint Louis University, and her M.A. in Counseling in 1977 at the University of Nebraska. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Illinois, as well as an Approved Supervisor and a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She teaches both M.A. and Ph.D. level courses at Saint Louis University and maintains a private practice in individual, couple, and family therapy in Illinois. Nancy's research interests include family resiliency, single-parent and remarried families, and post-modern therapy and teaching.
