Mary M. Chittooran, Ph.D., NCSP

Mary (Rina) Chittooran is a nationally certified school psychologist and an Associate Professor in the Department of Education. She has served as Chair of the department, as a University Faculty Fellow in Ethics, and during a recent sabbatical, as a Visiting Fellow at the University of London. Before joining Saint Louis University in 1998, Dr. Chittooran was a UC Foundation Assistant Professor of School Psychology and Special Education at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga as well as Director of its School Psychology program and the Youth Educational Assessment and Research Center. She has also worked as a school psychologist in the Starkville School District in Mississippi and as program evaluator at Saint Louis University and the St. Louis Public Schools.
