Online Student Personnel Administration Specialty Program
The Higher Education Administration program in the College of Education and Public Service offers an 18-hour online non-degree graduate program in Student Personnel Administration. The Student Personnel Administration Specialty Program is a 100% online non-degree program that provides flexibility to students who currently hold positions or live outside the St. Louis area. The online Student Personnel Administration Specialty Program is designed for professionals aspiring to student services positions within higher education and those who seek to learn more about the field of student development and student services in the college setting. The program provides knowledge and professional development in the areas of student personnel administration, college student demographics and trends, the college environment, disability, legal and ethical issues, and college student development. Participants in the program learn how to help with the management of student services programs in higher education, lead and assist with such programs, and provide effective services to college students.
The online program offers convenience and flexibility. Classes may be applied to the Saint Louis University Masters in Student Personnel Administration.

Students must have completed at least six hours in the program before applying for an internship. Internships must be at 2- or 4-year colleges or universities or regional/extended campuses. With advisor approval, this requirement can be substituted with one additional elective course.
Electives: EDL 565 Intervention Skills in Higher Education or any course as approved by the program coordinator.
