German Studies: 2007 Sprachwochenende

On Friday and Saturday, November 2nd and 3rd, 2007, the German divisions at St. Louis University and Webster University held their annual Sprachwochenende at the Henry Lay Center for Education and the Arts in Louisiana, MO.

Upon arrival, students swore the Spracheid (language oath) on a copy of Kontakte, swearing upon their honor as German students to only speak German the entire weekend. Activities included games such as Pictionary, the film "Alles auf Zucker", conrete poetry, Autrian culture and language, sketches, and, of course, Kaffee und Kuchen.
