Norma Vogelweid, the instructor of the pre-departure and re-entry study abroad courses, has worked in business and with community organizations for twenty-five years in Europe and South America. Her homes were in Zürich, Switzerland, São Paulo, Brazil, and Lisbon, Portugal. Ms. Vogelweid is a native St. Louisan who received her Master's degree from the University of Chicago in International Relations. She agrees with a New York Times Magazine article that said: "To see the world, you must get close to it. You must get on the bloody plane."
