The Global Villa in Notre Dame Hall
Many Languages, One World

The Global Villa welcomes students of all backgrounds who are interested in other lands – their histories, languages, cultures and traditions, and their role in international affairs. It is a learning community that fosters cross-cultural understanding and service to others as part of the Jesuit tradition.

The Global Villa is ideal for international students, those majoring or minoring in a language, International Studies, International Business, preparing for study abroad or returning from it.

Residents may opt to live on one of four Language Floors (French, German, Italian or Spanish), enabling them to immerse themselves in the language and culture, as well as to co-enroll in related courses, and enjoy the cultures (and foods!) of other lands. Foreign Language Teaching Assistants from abroad live in the community and help with studies and activities.

If you are interested in living in the Global Villa, please fill out the Online Housing Application available here. Remember to also submit the supplemental application to be placed on a language floor.
