Please read and accept the following terms before clicking the submit button below.

•I understand that submitting an application for the Villa does not guarantee a spot in the learning community, and that all applicants must be approved by the Department of Modern and Classical Languages.

•I understand that I must complete the online Housing Application for the Department of Housing and Residence Life. I need to rank The Global Villa as my first choice for housing.

•I also understand that one of the main purposes of the Villa is to maintain and gain further fluency in my language(s) of interest. I will thus use it as my primary means of communication with other residents when I am present on the language floor. I understand that the language I have chosen is required for all the social and cultural events organized by my language floor, including the meals taken together.

•I understand that if I am accepted into the Villa all students are co-enrolled in MLNG 293 Living Languages Through Community Learning (0-1 credit course) in conjunction with a French, German, Italian or Spanish course appropriate to my level. As a first year student I will also be co-enrolled in History 112-07 Origins of the Modern World since 1600.

•If I am accepted in to the Villa learning community, I will conduct myself with respect toward all other members of the Villa. I will follow the expectations established by the floor and by the Villa as a whole.

•Typically, students living on the language floors commit to the entire academic year.
